The Johnson BioPhysics® approach utilizes the Cartesian Coordinate System (X, Y, Z-Axis) for evaluating and adjusting the biomechanical integrity of the human spine, pelvis, and extremities. This comprehensive approach includes pre and post three-dimensional posture analysis, along with mirror image adjustments of the spine and extremities.
All adjustments are performed using a high-velocity, low-amplitude specific thrust to realign the joint into its most biomechanically relevant position relative to the adjacent bone/joint. The primary goal of the Johnson BioPhysics® is to detect and correct biomechanical improprieties, known as subluxations, in the spine and extremities. This process liberates the human body from neurological and physiological interferences, collectively referred to as the Vertebral Subluxation Complex.
Dr. Johnson also performs adjustments on the pelvis and extremities, allowing for maximum joint range of motion while respecting the anatomical integrity of the ligaments responsible for each joint’s stability (Full Range of Motion). This action takes the joint to the anatomical integrity of the ligaments in each joint, sending proprioceptive neurological afferent impulses from the joint/nerve to the spinal cord and then into the brain. This elicits a neurological response, resulting in afferent signals throughout the body that communicate through a negative feedback loop, ultimately leading to improved neurological function. This typically results in a reduction of pain reception, commonly known as the Pain Gate phenomenon.
